I loved the New Balance FuelCell TC as a Vaporfly-lite training shoe, but the like-for-like racing shoe, the New Balance FuelCell RC, hasn’t been made available yet. Several brands have released shoes with carbon-fibre plates in 2020, so there was always a chance that sight would change when racing finally returns, but the Endorphin Pro is the first shoe I’ve tried that matches the performance of the Alphafly and Vaporfly. You just have to glance down at the start lines of races to see Nike’s dominance, especially at the front of the pack. However you feel about the ethics of high stack shoes with carbon plates, there’s no doubt that the Vaporfly has aided runners of all levels to achieve personal bests since its launch. That’s pretty much the best review you can give a running shoe at the moment – that it’s the match of Nike’s all-conquering racing line. Until now, it’s generally been the case of picking between the Vaporfly 4% and Vaporfly NEXT%, – but even though I’ve used and loved Nike’s latest racer, the Alphafly, the Saucony Endorphin Pro might be the shoe I slip on. The version #2 is much less fun: less toe spring, less cushioning and quite dead when compared to version #1.For the first time since I picked up a pair of Nike Vaporfly shoes in late 2018, I’m not completely sure which brand’s shoe I’m going to use for my next PB attempt. I will definitely buy this brand again.Ĭomments: I˙ve really enjoyed running in the Endorphin #1. Too firm for me, normally robust knees felt a bit achy after a 10-mile tempo.Ĭomments: This is my new favorite. Endorphin pro 1 is much better for me.Ĭomments: Nice shoe. Developed some discomfort with longer distances over 10 miles.Ĭomments: Too soft.Bad shoe. A little too narrow in the forefoot for me. Ran about 30 miles in them, very fast lightweight. East Setauket October 6th 2021Ĭomments: Over all great shoe. I'm hopeful that they'll help a bit for that run.įrom: Nick D. I'll be using these shoes in the Boston Marathon next week. The shoe fits well with the heel locked down nice and plenty of room in the toe box. The roll transition is very smooth and I love the snap the carbon fiber plate provides. I've run two 20 mile runs in them and very much like the way they perform. México October 7th 2021Ĭomments: I really like this shoe. Definitely a great lightweight trainer or racing shoeĬomments: Comfortable but I don't feel the disruption that I expected with the carbon plate.įrom: Gualberto Curiel. The endorphin is responsive, lightweight, and resilient. I tried the Hoka rocket x, but after only 15 miles, they started breaking down. red lodge Montana November 19th, 2021Ĭomments: First carbon shoe that has worked for me long term. THEY GOT ME AS A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!įrom: LARRY. It's the sameĬomments: NOT A VERY FLEXIBLE SHOE NOT IMPRESSED-BUT-BLOWN AWAY BY RUNNING WAREHOUSES RESPONSE WHEN I RETURNED IT. version 2 is only upper change - it isn't softer or dead. It's not flexible - it has a CARBON PLATE in it 2. Overall the Saucony Endorphin Pro 2 has what it takes to help runners toe the line with confidence.Ĭomments: 1.

The Saucony Endorphin Pro 2 will also offer a strategically placed rubber outsole with some exposed midsole to cut down on weight and give runners every advantage necessary. The PWRRUN PB midsole is complemented with a stiff carbon fiber plate and Saucony’s SPEEDROLL rocker technology which gives the Endorphin Pro 2 the rigidity and efficiency needed to propel runners towards faster times. The Endorphin Pro 2 offers a midsole that is packed with a full-length PWRRUN PB foam which will be one of the most responsive and lightweight PEBA-based foams out there.
